Meet trainer tessI originally went to Texas Christian University to become an art teacher with a plan to eventually become an art therapist, but a puppy came into my life. As I learned more about how to be the best pet parent I could be, I started realizing that the path I was on was not my own. I changed my major and graduated with a major in Studio Art, a minor in Psychology, and a minor in Educational Studies (Teaching). While art still remains a hobby, my true passion for helping pet parents to also be the best they can be has become a life-long mission. I am not a dog owner who thinks I'm good at training dogs and made a business out of it. I have worked hard to earn all of my certifications so my clients can be confident that the information I give them is based on the most humane, ethical, and scientifically-sound information available today.
